BlueBotics S.A. aims to become world leader in autonomous navigation with the mission to enable the mobility of vehicles for the automation in the professional use market. The strategy of BlueBotics is to find strong partners, jointly develop innovative service robotics applications with high added value, and have the partners distributing the product embedding BlueBotics’ solutions on their own markets.
BlueBotics SA is a spin-off company of the Autonomous Systems Lab, EPFL. Founded in 2001 with the mission to market innovative and promising mobile robotics technologies, the company is now active in two segments: Automation and service robotics.
- Automation – BlueBotics' core business is the navigation market, where the company proposes ANT®, its innovative navigation solution. ANT® - autonomous navigation technology - is opening the door to new applications especially in the light load logistics and the service robotics market.
- Service Robotics – The company proposes R&D services based on its expertise in mobile robotics with standard platforms, feasibility studies, custom designs, and dedicated developments for automation, service robotics, and research. BlueBotics' expertise in mechatronics (mechanics, electronics, software and integration) allows for rapid custom developments with competitive prices.
Role in the project
The main tasks of the BlueBotics will be: Automation of vehicles, system integration, and exploitation.
